No Rush Club – Brand Identity
Role: Concept, design and art direction
Deliverables: Logo + Visual Identity | Brand + Social Guidance | Social Templates
No Rush Club is an apparel and lifestyle brand built around the philosophy of slowing down – a daily, wearable reminder to stop, breathe, and live with more intention. Its lovely founders approached me, after a referral, as they had a vision but needed some assistance in translating this into something tangible.
They loved the idea of the humble snail as their mascot, so I worked on building the brand concept around him, settling on the idea of ‘trails’ – the visible, meandering paths that show a snail’s direction. He’s not ‘devoid of speed’, he’s simply deliberate in his exploration. Because stopping for a bit of lunch, or looping around to take the slow, scenic route, is always a good idea.
Once we had our concept I could then build the brand identity, from logo to typeface, tone of voice to image grading; developing a brand kit in Adobe Express for the team to take forward until their next phase of development. A fun, collaborative and enjoyable journey from start to finish (with enough time to enjoy the view).
“I would never have imagined the slow passion to that deliberate progress.”
